Thank you for the kind words and support.

You have made some fantastic suggestions which we'll start looking into straight away. I particularly like the idea of a search box widget.

We spent quite a bit of time prior to launch mulling over whether to allow Jikolp users to select their own charity or not. You are correct that there are positives and negatives to the approach we have taken. I'm planning on spending some time to see whether there is a way we can provide both options to Jikolp users though. Stay tuned:)

Thanks again for your feedback and the great suggestions!

Take care,
Ryan:)

Okay, so they use 50% of profits? That doesn't seem like much when you look at http://www.isara.com which uses 100% of profits for projects. They are currently doing projects in Thailand because a little money goes a long way there. Last month they gave away a scholarship for an entire years education based on two months of revenue.

No, you can't chose the charity, but you can suggest projects, and all suggestions are taken seriously. I can't think of another charity, where I can ask them to take orphans to see a movie, and then three months later, it happens!

I hope you all check this great website out, watch the one year anniversary video, and consider changing your homepage. Thanks, Ginafish
